Loan modifications have become a central feature of the current mortgage market. Whether you offer loan modification services or not you need to educate yourself. So, I have spent a little time reviewing the Web and talking to clients to find some of the best resources.
Here is a short list of important loan modification information websites, blogs, and forums:
LoanSafe.org – A lead generation company that has a website full of great loan modification resources, including an excellent Loan Mod eBook. Check out their forum for great discussions with loan modification experts.
The Loan Modification Forum – A loan modification blog that is following a lot of the changes and shifts in the loan modification business.
BiggerPockets forums – This site has numerous networking forums. Their loss mitigation and loan modification forums have a nice group of participants.
Slade Law – Slade Law is a legal center that specializes in loan modifications. They have some great information, a blog, and a small forum.
Loan Modifications R Us – This is a newer loan modification forum, but seems to have a growing community and good discussion.
LinkedIn Loan Modification Group – There are over 47 loan modification groups on LinkedIn. These are great places to learn, contribute, find experts, or show off your expertise.
Like it or not your customers need loan modification experts. It is time to become one–get involved online!
